• We distribute clothes, blankets, mosquito nets and gift coupons to the under privileged families residing in/serving in our Block.

• On Independence Day and Republic Day, we distribute fruits and sweets to Cancer patients in the Subodh Mitra Cancer Hospital and Cancer Research Centre, Salt Lake

• In our Community Centre, a Computer Training Centre is run for the children living in and around our Block - run by volunteers of our Block. All equipment are received as donations and we are open for upgrades. Currently Microsoft, Adobe and other software are taught at the Centre at very nominal charges. People wishing to practice and upgrade skills on Computer can join. Classes are on Saturday and Sunday evening only to accommodate Students and Professionals/Working Executives. 

• We arrange seminars for general awareness about environment, consumer movement, and various diseases

• We celebrate birthdays of eminent personalities like Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Vidyasagar, Swami Vivekananda etc., which associate cultural activity and spread knowledge and information

• We organise Annual Picnic and Sports for our Block members and their families regularly

• We celebrate all important Pujas and other festivals every year, including Basanta Utsav (Holi) where all participate

• Our celebration of Independence Day and Republic Day bring national unity and awareness of our duties and responsibilities to the Nation

• We have started a Music Teaching Class for the underprivileged children to enrich them with our rich culture in music.

• We perform Tree Plantation program every year as a joint venture project along with the local Rotary Club. This improves awareness about environment. Kindly contact us if you want to donate towards the green drive.

• We conduct Health Check-Up Camps and Health Awareness Camps along with the local Rotary Club and renowned hospitals like AMRI and Apollo.

• We organise Annual Sit and Draw programme for children

• Our Library is a place of knowledge and recreation and is enjoyed by our Block-All are welcome

• We have started a Computer Training Centre, to impart basic training to the members and the underprivileged children in and around the Block.  45 children regularly attend the classes, along with a few adults. A few Senior citizens have also benefited by learning about the basics of Computer and Mobile operations.

All our activities are organised out of the donations we receive from our members, their relatives, various offices and agencies and organisations who support our social upliftment programs. We humbly accept donations for:-

• Our benevolent Fund which is used basically for benevolent purpose.

• Our Computer Training centre,where donations in cash or in kinds like our required computer or accessories are acceptable 

• Our Library where donations in cash or books which are acceptable and useful for the Library are accepted.

• Our Community Centre where we make permanent or semi-permanent additions and donation in cash (or kinds) are accepted.

• Our Durga Puja and other Pujas for purpose of donation, advertisements and/or sponsorship on specific terms.

• We are proud of the fact that our Durga Puja attracts people from all over to see the innovative and environment friendly Pandal that is selected by premium awards every year.

• General or miscellaneous purpose for expansion of activities of our Association.
